This is a scene from the Skinners and Tanners public house, where Eric Pendleton, the character on the left, was supposed to make his speech on the Twin Towers, but never did (see The Greystone Affair for further details). You might recognise some of the other characters depicted. It's a real rogues gallery! 30x40 cm. Canvas on stretcher.
